MELBOURNE, Feb 27 AAP - Former union boss Craig Johnston and his colleagues stormeda tile factory singling out non-union labour during an industrial dispute, a court wastold today.
Prosecutor Bob Johnson told the court the dispute arose after the company laid offworkers in June 2001 and outsourced the work to a labour hire firm.
After negotiations failed, Johnston, then Victorian secretary of the Australian ManufacturingWorkers Union (AMWU) allegedly threatened to "kick the shit" out of the non-union workers.
