Network Box USA, the American arm of worldwide managed securityservice provider Network Box Corp., said it has signed CoNetrix as achannel partner to sell its managed service, which includes theNetwork Box unified threat management (UTM) appliance.
CoNetrix is a Lubbock, Texas-based computer networking, securityand compliance firm that primarily serves financial institutions.
"CoNetrix is a perfect fit for our channel partner program," saidRandy Hays, Network Box USA's director of sales. "They specialize inthe banking industry, which is our strongest vertical market. WithCoNetrix on board, our managed security service and UTM will gain aneven greater foothold in the financial community."
According to a release, the Network Box UTM is a remotely managedInternet threat prevention and security device that weaves togethernumerous applications -- firewall, intrusion prevention anddetection, virtual private network, content filtering, anti-virus,anti-spam, anti-phishing, and anti-spyware -- into a single, hybridof hardware and software. It enables businesses to combat hackers,worms, backdoors and other online menaces.
